Northrop Grumman is seeking a User Experience Researcher for a internship opportunity \.

Our Corporate Office team provides enterprise support in a variety of functions\. No matter what your role, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do to protect the world\.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s internal Mission Assurance and Service Excellence team, which in conjunction with our service owners, will rapidly design and develop our enterprise services with a focus on end user experience and quality\. Our collective goal is to create an outstanding experience for all Northrop Grumman employees who use our enterprise services\.

Roles and Responsibilities

+ Work under the direction of a lead user experience researcher to help conduct user research

+ Assist in performing analysis of research data in order to create actionable findings

+ Employ user\-centered design methodologies to drive a better user experience in company services

+ Contribute to the design process by creating graphical mock\-ups and/or UI prototypes


Basic Qualifications:

+ Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Communication Technology, Human\-Computer Interaction, Psychology or related program

+ Superior written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to graph and report analysis of research topics

+ Be available to work 10\-12 weeks this summer for 40 hours a week

+ U\.S citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Minimum GPA of 3\.25 or higher

+ Pursuing a Master’s degree in related field

+ Experience with graphical design, wire framing, and prototyping tools

+ Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
