General Summary

Work as a member of the HOSC Customer Service Team to assist HOSC customers with operational concept development, develop effective and efficient support requirements, provide technical assistance on use of HOSC services, and provide updates of status relevant to the customer.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

*Will provide collection, formulation, integration, analysis and processing of system, mission and communication requirements from internal and external HOSC customers.

*Evaluate mission support requirements for HOSC communications and data systems against current capabilities, verify operations procedures and management plans, and ensure that all necessary equipment is in operating condition prior to scheduled activity support.

*Ensure inter-center operation support requirements and implementation program commitments are fulfilled. 

*Integrate requirements and systems to enhance efficiencies and minimize costs.

*Participate in Technical interchange Meetings (TIM), Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) with customers as needed.  Some travel is required.

*Forecast and assess future mission requirements.

*Participate in new ground system services requirement definition and design processes to make sure new services satisfy the future needs of customers.  Maintain the HOSC Service Catalog.

*Assigned to work special projects as required.

*Required to work independently where knowledge, judgment and initiative are relied upon to make decisions regarding matters in execution of required task.

*May occasionally provide work leadership to lower level employees.

Required Experience

 Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, or the equivalent experience

* Minimum of five years work related experience

* Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance

* Requires strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with HOSC customers including ISS Program International Partners

* Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs

Preferred Qualifications

* Working knowledge of current HOSC systems and services is highly desired

* Familiarity with the HOSC, POIF and the ISS Program environment is highly desired
