Performs analysis of network diagrams, network topologies, hardware and software lists to determine level of effort required for vulnerability assessments. Will also be responsible for serving as "deputy" to the SCA-V Team Lead and duties associated with that role.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions):

  • Performs analysis of network diagrams, network topologies, hardware and software lists to determine level of effort required for vulnerability assessments.
  • Provides standard support for processes, investigations and maintenance of system accreditation*
  • Identifies where systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.*
  • Involved in conducting audits to ensure information systems security policies and procedures are implemented as defined in security plans and best practices. *
  • Supports the formal testing requirements through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports.
  • Involved in passive evaluations (compliance audits) and/or active evaluations (vulnerability assessments).
  • Assist in tracking and scheduling resources for all vulnerability assessments.
  • Assist in verifying all deliverables are thorough and complete.
  • Perform cyber engineering on network diagrams and other classified technical information to determine the complexity of a job, technical skills required, and how much to bid.
  • May provide oversight and leadership to lower level employees

In addition, will service in a deputy area-lead capacity to include duties such as:

  • Reviewing funding documents for accuracy
  • Assigning resources to events
  • Determining the hours needed to execute events
  • Managing funding for events to insure all resources are funded and funding is utilized
  • Managing customer expectations for events and deliverables

 

Required Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 plus years of work related experience.
  • Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings.
  • Ability to clearly communicate expectations to customers.
  • Requires a valid DoD security clearance.
  • Security + CE certification or higher
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • ACA/SCA-V Experience
  • eMASS experience
  • RMF Experience
  • Experience managing tasks (personnel and funding)
