Skill set requirements:

 

  1. Leadership skills required

  2. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance

  3. Must have, or the ability to obtain, a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class C or higher with Hazardous Material endorsement (Haz Mat)

  4. Maintain currency on all required training and certifications

    1. Ammunition & Explosive Group II certification

    2. RTC Hazards Familiarization Training

    3. Ammunition 63 (Explosive Safety Familiarization)

    4. Ammunition 67 (HAZMAT Familiarization and Safety in Transportation)

  5. Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  6. Knowledgeable in the operation of AMCATS

  7. Understanding of Army Regulations pertaining specifically to storage, transportation, and compatibility of AA&E items

  8. Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and nonverbal) skills required

  9. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader

  10. Ability to self-motivate and multi-task with minimal supervision in an ever changing work environment.

 

Description of duties:

 

  1. Receive hauling requests made from Test Engineers via email, phone, or SharePoint and prepare proper documentation in a timely manner

  2. Prioritize all requests based on deadlines of testing and availability of space within each operational facility or storage magazine

  3. Track Net Explosive Weight (N.E.W) for all magazines and building to ensure N.E.W. does not exceed maximum limit allowed

  4. Log daily movements of all AA&E items and update AMCATS with new locations

  5. Issue, file, and sort paperwork (i.e. Travelers) related to testing and ensure paperwork is provided for each phase of testing

  6. Support Environment and Component Test Directorate Test Engineers in locating all items necessary to complete testing requirements

  7. Transfer and accept records from other entities using AMCATS

  8. Formulate and scrub weekly reports for Logistics Lead

  9. Other duties as assigned by Lead.

 

Education:

 

Minimum of four (4) years’ experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization. Alternatively, up to four (4) years post-secondary education or military service may be substituted for up to four (4) years of experience.
