COLSA Corporation is seeking candidates for an Information Technology (IT) Systems Analyst to provide technical advisory and assistance to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) specific to IT systems architecture and engineering designs. The position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama. The job duties and skills are listed below and include but are not limited to:

  • Provide senior level technical support and assistance specific to complex information technology architecture and engineering designs
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Network Services, and Application Development contractor team organizations to influence appropriate cyber secure solutions
  • Review proposed architectures and designs for accuracy, completeness and alignment with IT enterprise and mission event requirements
  • Provide support with planning, deploying, and supporting IT solutions development and implementation; including developing segment, transformational and transition architectures
  • Review configuration changes and provide senior level support for the IT Configuration Management Process
  • Provide quality assurance oversight and assist with maintenance and patching schedules to determine any impacts to IT operations and mission test activities
  • Analyze DODAF-based Service Views, Operational Views and System Views design artifacts for technical accuracy and relevance based on strategic goals, business and functional requirements
  • Represent the customer and end user for assigned IT projects, manage scope and maintain cognizance through completion
  • Provide cost estimates, schedules and business cases
  • Develop and present executive level briefings to MDA Senior Leaders
  • Demonstrate operational support experience, situational awareness, and attention to detail
  • Quickly and accurately process multiple assignments with aggressive timelines in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated
Required Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years total related experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Active DoD SECRET security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Cisco, Microsoft, or VMWare products
  • Familiar with Security Technical Implementation Guides
  • Familiar with NIST Risk Management Framework
  • Familiar with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Experience with designing and reviewing MDA Infrastructure and Enterprise systems
  • Familiar with MDA business processes and procedures
