Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Create new medical records and retrieve existing medical records by gathering appropriate folders and contents.
- Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
- Review records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance and regulations.
- Retrieve patient medical records for physicians, technicians, and other medical personnel.
- Gather patient information by collecting demographic information from a variety of sources.
Must possess strong attention to detail.
Must be able to work well with co-workers and patients.
High school diploma/Equivalent required. Experience in the medical field preferred.
