Job Duties:

Plan, support, track and maintain Advanced Test Instrumentation Products Division's production requirements and schedules.  Monitors and tracks performance to schedules, requirements, and budgets.  Manages project material requirements, organizes various bills of materials, structures procurement strategies, and tracks status.  Manages project inventory, task orders, and assembly status.  Coordinates project requirements between engineering team and purchasing.  Develops processes to increase efficiencies and effectiveness while increasing the ability of the various team leads to better manage their projects with the most up to date management data.

Job Description: 1- 5 years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or 2 years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and 1 - 3 years of applicable experience.

Desired: Experience with inventory tracking systems, procurement, understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) and can organize and purchase from that BOM, strong organizational skills.

Requirements:

  •          High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical training or Associates degree preferred.
  •          Ability to routinely lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. 
  •          Familiar with the recognition and use of basic hand tools.
  •          General to intermediate computer skills with MS Office.
  •          Work as a team member in a collaborative effort, taking initiative at times when direction is implicit.
  •          Ability to understand basic engineering terminology and communicate effectively with others.
  •          Be flexible to changing work environments and tasks.
  •          Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends if necessary.
  •          Expected to periodically participate in cross-functional training activities performing engineering tasks in support of other test programs.
  •          Ability to follow safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures.
  •          Must be a U. S. citizen.
  •          Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.
