The successful applicant is responsible for CONUS and OCONUS recruitment activities. Must be detail oriented with strong multi-tasking capabilities. Complete all tasks of the hiring process including job offers, background checks, licensures, education, required specific training, and verification of all pre-employment paperwork.
Responsible for recruiting aviation, technical, administrative and management positions throughout the company. A basic understanding of the Aviation Industry is preferred.
Must be able to establish trust and credibility by working independently with customers and candidates.
Extensive knowledge of personnel policies and procedures, federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Familiarity with Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and Aviation Platform knowledge preferred. One Key Performance Indicator which is tracked and reported is successfully staffing to the defined job requirement utilizing S3’s time to hire metrics.
Responsibilities are inclusive of but not limited to:
Develop creative recruiting resources to attract candidates, salaried and hourly for CONUS AND OCONUS positions.
Attend Job/Career fairs (local and statewide)
Screen and interview candidates, and perform reference checks.
Extend job offers.
Schedule drug screenings and track results for all new hires.
Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with internal customers and HR team.
Deliver consistent application of HR policies, legislation and best practices for hiring candidates.
Support HR Management with special projects and contribute to functional and cross functional teaming projects.
Understand and assist in the preparation and delivery of AAP Plans and EEO tracking.
Conduct new hire orientation.
