Job Summary

AECOM is looking for a Site Manager to work at Oman/ Thumrait Warm Air Base & Al Mussanah Air Base in Kuwait.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Purpose and Scope:

The Site Manager will be responsible for meeting Contractor’s work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Provides direction and leadership to assigned personnel.

+ Manages and coordinates research and investigations into business problems.

+ Provides guidance and assistance relative to operating problems and projects.

+ Provides senior technical support to customers.

+ Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested

+ Supervise, coach and lead work teams in the accomplishment of goals and tasks in support of specific programs.

+ Perform and supervise multi-disciplinary technical and/or non-technical tasks for applicable programs.

+ Interface with customers to determine specific needs and requirements.

+ Coordinate the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other personnel.

+ Perform management level customer interface, including responsibility for contractual deliverables, development of responses to the Requests for Quotes and overall task execution.

+ Supervise and manage program activities in multiple disciplines covering technical and/or non-technical areas. Such areas include engineering design, development, testing, implementation, operation and maintenance of diverse integrated electronic and mechanical systems; operations research; asset management, and program documentation.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience; five (5) years of diverse management experience; and excellent communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills.

+ Desktop computer skills are essential with proficiency in full range of Microsoft Office products and should be capable of preparing management level reports and presentations.

+ Must have knowledge of Engineering and/or logistics, Construction, Services, Commodities and Government acquisitions

+ Direct management of a task order of a magnitude greater than $1M in an austere environment.

+ Position may require travel.

+ Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
