Sr. Cyber Security System Engineer
Serve as Cyber security Engineer as part of the Cyber security Operations Staff providing technical and programmatic support to the key Army Materiel Command (AMC) Cyber Operations (CO) program and functions – to include CO policy and procedure development, strategic and operational planning, process improvement, and research, development and engineering efforts.
Engage in cyber security engineering efforts with direct coordination and support to key products supporting the AMC CO. Activities include develop and analyze CO requirements and provide support in the assessment, evaluation, and testing of existing and emerging CO technologies, systems and capabilities. Support development of CO standard operating procedures, program reviews, and management plan/budget development and reviews. Coordinate with related CO government, academic and industry programs and support AMC General Officer program management coordination, hosting meetings and presentation materials.
Experience and Education Requirements:
+ 12+ years of experience and which 6+years needs to be inCyber Security
+ Bachelor’s Degree Engineering Discipline; Electrical and Computer Science; Information System
+ Hold professional certifications for DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level III.
+ CISSP highly desired.
+ Clearance: Top Secret w/ SSBI.
+ Proficiency in information systems, cybersecurity systems, software development life cycle, network node development, network operations, program integration, cybersecurity and system architectures, cybersecurity design, and engineering analysis.
+ Work experience in the DoD
+ Familiarity with DoD Enterprise Cybersecurity tools and processes
+ Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment; apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration and operations; maintains the capability to develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel; andworks within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, Sub-Contractor and Supporting Contractor personnel.
+ Experience in Acquisition Management is highly desirable.
