Sr. Financial Reporting Manager (JC97922851)

The primary job responsibility of the Senior Financial Reporting Manager is to prepare and review both internal and external reporting for the organization. This includes writing and reviewing the Company’s public filing documents, assisting in the annual external audit, preparing monthly financial documents, periodic forecasts and annual budgets for senior management. Additional responsibilities include the presentation of conclusions on financial issues and projects to senior management, both orally and in writing.

+ Compilation and preparation of the quarterly, annual and periodic required SEC reports, including completing quarterly and annual SEC and GAAP disclosure checklists and preparing quarterly and annual support binders.

+ Planning and preparation of quarterly and annual timelines and responsibilities

+ Scheduling and coordination of quarterly investor calls, including preparation of quarterly investor call materials.

+ Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual bank compliance packages.

+ Preparation and compilation of consolidating financial statements for issuance internally and externally, ensuring intercompany items properly eliminate.

+ Preparation and compilation of BD8 and monthly Corporate P&L reports for issuance to senior management.

+ Preparation of monthly balance sheet roll forwards.

+ Providing appropriate support for financial statement disclosures and assisting with various requests from external auditors, including performing financial fluctuation, trend and variance analysis.

+ Preparation and submission of required quarterly reporting to parent company

+ Preparation and submission of periodic government reports

+ Coordination, compilation and review of quarterly compliance related to SOX Controls.

+ Annual coordination, compilation and review of Directors and Officers Questionnaires.

+ Preparation and compilation of quarterly forecasts.

+ Assist in coordination and preparation of annual operating budget.

+ Performing accounting and reporting research in accordance with GAAP and SEC rules and preparing technical memorandums to document conclusions reached.

+ Assist in Senior management initiatives and analysis (Strategic initiatives, divestitures, acquisitions, etc.), as necessary.

+ Directly supervises one employee in the Financial Reporting Group.

+ Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

+ The Financial Reporting Senior Manager should possess a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, strong analytical and research skills, and strong written and oral communication skills.

+ Experience with interim and annual financial reporting, including the development and/or review of annual reports including footnote disclosures is also required.

+ Will also need to be able to work effectively with legal and accounting experts, including developing an understanding of relevant technical literature and formulating a point of view.

+ Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university

+ And five years related experience and/or training

+ CPA preferred

Language Skills

+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

+ Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from agencies, or members of the company.

+ Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

+ Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills

+ Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.

+ Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Reasoning Ability

+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

+ Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills

+ To perform this job successfully, an individual is required to have SAP or other ERP system experience
