Job Description:

COLSA Corporation is seeking qualified applicants for a Technical Project Manager.  The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading special projects and designated personnel to provide analysis, feasibility and execution of associated tasks as necessary for the Advanced Research Center. These projects will include (but will not be limited to) design and implementation of specialized systems within classified network enclaves, cybersecurity requirements for ARC networks and evaluation of user requirements for major BMDS components and Test Labs within MDA’s Advanced Research Center.

Responsibilities include:

* Management of staff performing special projects including cybersecurity requirements integration and research and recommendation of new/emerging technologies into classified and unclassified network environments.

* Ensure that staffing, facilities, equipment, etc., are adequate for successful completion of the task/project.

* Responsible for task/project growth.

* May be involved in more than one task/project at a time.

* Develops and provides reports on task/project requirements, activities and status.

* Serve as liaison between department and other departments as well as with outside (government) customers, regulatory personnel, etc.

* Review user requirements and provide direction in identifying problems and possible solutions.

* Provide analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of complex systems and networks.

* Develop and apply advanced techniques in the investigation and solution of advanced system requirements and problems.

* Create test plans and procedures.

* May assist with the preparation of hardware/software requirements and budgeting/proposal efforts.

Required Experience

Required Qualifications

 *  Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

 * Minimum of 8 years work related experience, including 3 years supervisory experience

 * Currently active DoD SECRET security clearance required

 * Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs

 * In accordance with DoD 8570.1M, the candidate must obtain an CompTIA Security+ CE certification within 90 days of hire date

 * Candidate must obtain the Computing Environment Certification, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) within 90 days of hire date

 * Candidate must obtain the IAT Level III Certification; CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) within 90 days of hire date

Preferred Qualifications

* Current CompTIA Security + certification

* Current CompTIA Network + certification

* Current CCNA, CCSA, CCDA and/or CCNP certification

* Current CASP certification

* Prior experience managing projects/teams supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to include network communications in a test environment and Cybersecurity/Information Assurance objectives of MDA.

* Prior experience auditing system security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security plans.

* Prior experience creating specific cybersecurity documents such as Ports, Protocols and Services (PPS) and cybersecurity status scorecards.

* Prior experience creating and presenting change request documents to formal Configuration Control Boards for approval

* Strong team leadership skills
